JW Marriott

JW Marriott Houston Downtown was in need of acoustic and architectural wall finishes that could match a luxury hospitality environment, and TruPoint Builders provided. Sweeping radius walls around the meeting and event spaces called for fabric-wrapped acoustic panels finished in Carnegie Elite, each one conforming to the curve while holding a clean, tailored line. SanFoot Recon Mallee wood veneer brings warmth to feature walls, its grain running true across curved returns. In the ballroom and pre-function areas, custom-cut Kirei PET panels form large-scale tree and branch motifs, with Kirei Embossed Zen panels below adding a dimensional wainscot. The project required coordination across multiple systems and radius geometries, but the team worked to ensure that each element was given the attention needed to achieve the desired look and feel. When the final panel was placed, the space reflected a hotel environment where acoustic performance and architectural detail work as one.
